Joy for Your Neighbors

2024 Holiday Signups will open early October 2024

Joy for Your Neighbors is all things holidays here at BAN. If you live in Broken Arrow or Coweta, or if you have children enrolled in Broken Arrow Public Schools or Union Public Schools you can register for Thanksgiving food basket, December holiday food, and holiday gifts from the first business day in October to the first Friday in November.

Children 15 and under can have their guardians register online by clicking the button above while BAN is accepting holiday assistance requests. Guardians will need to provide the child’s birth certificate or immunization record. Once all documents have been received, children or guardians can fill out each child’s want, need, and read. Does the child want a skateboard, Barbie, or other toys? Do they need new shoes, socks, a bed, etc.? And finally, every child deserves to have a book to call their own.

The community will sign up to sponsor families and buy the specific items requested on the “want, need, read” list. All families remain anonymous and gifts will come back unwrapped so the guardians can wrap everything. You have not completed sign-up until you receive a confirmation email from us with pickup dates and details for both Thanksgiving meal and holiday gifts.

Big Spirits, Little Trees

Big Spirit, Little Trees is a program that the Museum of Broken Arrow puts on each holiday season. Businesses and the community can decorate a 4ft tree with different themes that are then voted on by the community. When the museum is done with the trees, they donate them to BAN to give our clients during gift distribution.
