BAN provides food to Arts @ 302 for their Kristin’s Artists of Promise program. Partnering with Broken Arrow Public Schools, students in 4th and 5th grade are bussed three days a week to the art center for this free and year-long program.
BAN partners with Broken Arrow Public Schools for first-year teachers. During the first-year teacher orientation, BAN provides school supplies for the teachers to shop from for free. This is made possible by supply donations from the community and a partnership with Walmart.
BAN partners with the Broken Arrow Police Department Chaplain Corps. to help families stay in transitional housing. The police determine if the family is able to stay in housing and BAN will pay for the stay.
BAN provides food to the Broken Arrow Tulsa Tech campus weekly. Students that are in need of food are able to choose between food options to meet their needs.
“We are making a difference in our student’s here at the campus. We have seen a positive impact on grades this year! We currently only have 11 students out of 900 not making satisfactory progress as of this week. This is a huge improvement and we feel directly related to the students not being hungry while at school.”
